I had been looking for a low mileage VW Tiguan, and spotted one at Howards Used Car Centre in Yeovil, so after making sure everything was in place, finance approved, part ex accepted, Insurance ready, I drove the 228 miles down to the dealership. After introducing myself to the sales exec who I had been talking to a few days before, I was shown the documents and was handed the keys to a gleaming Black 6 year old VW Tiguan with 24k on the clock which was parked outside. After a good look around I was given a test drive ( make sure you take your driving license ) happy with the car I was taken through the documentation and everything explained to me. Howards is no ordinary used car centre, as it is fed by 8 franchised Howards dealerships so there is a lot of stock. All cars come with new or good Mot's and a full service, at sale. My advice is to know what you want and to speak to them if your travelling far, They where very helpful to me, and explained what documents I needed to take. After returning home I realised that a new cambelt was needed as the VW was over its time limit. I phoned Howards who agreed to pay for this with no arguments or conditions.
