Avoid!

Bought Prereg vehicle in July from Sale Citroen with less than 300miles on the clock. Assured vehicle would be checked over before handover. Instead within 24 hours I was back reporting a lack of handbook, a lack of any service book, but most importantly a noise when braking and another noise when accelerating. Sales assistant had no interest at all - by now they had my money and no doubt, she, her commission. It it now over 4 weeks since I bought the car. It is still sitting in Robins and Day. It needs a new gear box which apparently was a known problem before I bought the car and something that would have been obvious prior to them selling the car to me. I have no idea when the car will be returned - I have been given completion dates which have come and gone and promised phone calls are not returned. All they tell me is that it is "urgent". If this is urgent I dread to think what happens to an issue which they do not deem to be urgent! I wish I had never set foot in the place!
