Car went in for cambelt and water pump. Next day was overheating and coolant pouring out. Breakdown guy said it was from the cambelt area. The dealer said it was a hose that needed replaced and unrelated to the previous day’s work. Further £124. They send you a health check review on video. The technician pointed out a tyre with wear on the edge, corroded suspension, corroded exhaust and said it would be an mot failure. The mot was arranged for the following week but I cancelled and booked elsewhere. The car passed with no advisories. I asked about the areas raised by the Skoda technician and was told those weren’t even advisories. Would you trust Progress Skoda in Bedford with your car?
