The worst customer service ever

Easter Sunday, now that became an expensive meal. Red engine light, car became undriveable, MOT had expired unbeknownst to me, a problem of juggling life in two countries at the same time. RAC super helpful, took me to the garage and the next day I left it with sales in Nissan Ancaster. I thought great, I can at least sort two issues in one go. Sadly they were moving place, so they call me on Tuesday with the budget and the fix date. Budget over 1000£ for replacing the injector, for glow plugs and apparently they decided to add two belts just for fun(30k miles) so fine, belts are cheap, but labour? Also to do the MOT, as we agreed and shows on the notes. It was like going to the dentist without anaesthetics. They sent a text about my appointment on the 10th, called me to confirm a week before. And I think to myself, well at least it will be fixed and sorted. So I go to London(from Swindon) Friday afternoon to collect the car on the 11th in the morning, feeling relieved. 11th I call to the Garage to know where they are now because they moved. I give the reg number and they tell me the car isn’t ready. They are waiting for parts… Of course the red takes over and I ask: are you f***g kidding? I am in London, you guys called and texted to be there on the 10th. Puts me on hold and apparently the car will be ready on Monday. Parts must have materialised out of the ether or it was amazon Sunday delivery. Nothing I can do except to go back to Swindon loosing precious time and money. Monday comes, and I call because my inner cynic is prospering. They are working on the car, will be ready today, someone will call to confirm. Of course nobody called. Tuesday the 14th about midday I get the call, the car is ready. Hop on a bus again and head to London, another 4 hours fun. I get the car, argue over the date they knock 50£ off. And I drive to Swindon. Something doesn’t feel right, my spider senses tingle, but its late, garage is closed and I call them the next day. Me: Have you done the MOT on my car? Garage: No sir, it doesn’t seem that way, I can see it was requested in the notes but it wasn’t done. Me: So you give me the keys and allowed me to drive my car illegally, and forgot to tell me you actually did not fulfil your contractual obligations as agreed? Both on the dates and service level? Nobody bothered to call me to say the car wasn’t ready, and now I drive it home without it being ready… Garage: We don’t know what happened. Me: you have got to be joking at this stage, this probably the worst example of service I was given. Put me to CS, I need to complain. Garage: Sure, let me pop you on hold… (time passes) … we only got two people today and they are busy taking calls, it is best for you to write to them. Me: I will take this issue via an alternative route PS: after 400miles, another injector issue
