Rude and patronising service
Abysmal customer service from Jamie Cleland at Volvo Clelands. Purchased an XC60 only a few weeks ago and have had nothing but problems. The car broke down within only a few days!!! Leaving us to drive 350 miles in “go slow” mode from the Isle of Harris. Once the issue was fixed, the repair only lasted a few more days and the car broke down again due to their head tech not fixing it properly! I also reported a problem with excessive wheel vibration which they failed to fix when I brought the car back to them a week after picking it up. Upon taking the car to an independent garage they found both the front track rod ends were faulty. A dangerous issue which they failed to spot. Even though they provided a 1 year warranty with the vehicle, I was told them fixing the faults which the car had upon purchasing would be a gesture of their good will and that they wouldn’t offer any more “good will”. Jamie was incredibly rude and patronising and really made sure to speak to me like I was a piece of poop on his shoe. Very disappointing when all the faults were present when I purchased the vehicle and reported to them within 24 hours, or days after picking it up. I was also told that the car had a full Volvo warranty which was good at any Volvo dealership but going to another Volvo dealer in Derby I was told that the car had no warranty what so ever!! If you want to be treated like trash, use Clelands Volvo. Otherwise go elsewhere. NEVER AGAIN.
