Evans Halshaw Citroen in Darlington are an absolute Disgrace!!! Avoid at all costs, once you have signed on the dotted line there is no customer service. We bought a Kia last October and had problems from day one. The car cut out constantly and was so dangerous, we took it back for repair several times to be told the machine showed no errors. They treated us like liars and idiots, the Manager was unprofessional and rude and refused to take ours calls. Don’t even bother with their complaints procedure as the manager informed us they have no power and are just a bunch of receptionists. After being involved in a collision as a result of the car cutting out our finance company finally got involved and had the car independently checked by the AA who deemed the car as unsafe, still Evans Halshaw refused to let us return/ reject the car. The last 9 months have been so stressful paying for a car that we could not use, please avoid this company at all costs it’s been an absolute nightmare.
