Disinterested in customer service

I took the time to travel with car to Stratstone Land Rover in Aylesbury to solve a simple registration issue wih InControl as directed by the Land Rover website and with the appropriate paperwork. I was met with steadfast refusal to even consider looking at the problem. I was instead given advice which made no sense. Despite escalation to other staff members I was fed the same nonsense. Eventually when I got home I was able to resolve the issue over the phone with a central Customer Experience Centre representative who could not fathom why the dealership refused to assist me. What Stratstone would do well to remember is that while I wasn't there on that particular day to make a purchase or book servicing, at some point in the future I would have been. Not now I won't - I'll take my business elsewhere.
