Rip off merchants and rude service

I took my car for its mot repairs at the Family Car Centre after giving me a quote before leaving my car with them i double checked the price quoted and was told dont worry it wont be any more if you pay cash they took my number incase of any problems. 4 hours later i collected my car to be told i have to pay more than the quote because they had to buy an extra part . After asking them why they didnt phone me first to proceed i just got a shrug of shoulders. i was then surrounded by 3 workers to feel intimidated one worker became rude and told me if i dont pay up they will put the old part back on and not give me the mot certificate knowing i can not drive my car out of there. After telling them i only drew out enough cash to cover the quote so i would have to pay by card they still had the cheek to ask for the cash and the extra to be paid by card . Needless to say they have lost a valued customer and recommendations from myself
