Do not buy from Cooper BMW Chelmsford
I bought a 1year old M4 with 5200 miles from Cooper BMW Chelmsford with 7 defects. Long story short the dealer put in writing that they thought it is acceptable to sell a used car in that condition. I also had a rattling dashboard which was reported the same day of collecting the car. They tried to repair the car but couldn’t so they put in writing accusing me of using a silicone based cleaner on the dashboard and that’s what caused the issue. When asked for the evidence they could not provide it. I wanted to reject the car but Cooper Chelmsford refused my consumer rights 01/09/2015 so I had to get a solicitor and the financial ombudsman involved. It took 15 months to resolve and I lost £5000 in the process. I will be leaving reviews far and wide to the public and will be taking this to the news papers. We as consumers should not be treated like this.
