Unhappy Marlow Motor Company buyer

I bought a BMW 630I from Marlow Motor Company just over a month ago. I was told multiple times that there is nothing wrong with the car and that the salesman would not sell it to me if there was anything wrong with the car. After driving the car for a couple of weeks I noticed that upon start up the car was shaking for a few seconds and also between 20-30 mph, once the engine had warmed up, the car would be jerky and lose power. After getting it serviced from a BMW specialist I asked them to diagnose any issues with the car. I was told that the brake pipes were totally corroded and needed to be changed asap. I was also told that the Gearbox sump and sleeve are leaking. This totalled an estimate of £1150.00 to fix. I contacted Akil (salesman) who in turn spoke to his uncle( owner who I never saw or spoke to) to see whether they would accept that the car was not sold in good working order and with the brake issue even dangerous to drive. After calls over a few days bottom line was that they would not accept any liability for selling me a car that I have no choice but to park up until repairs are done. This is totally unacceptable and under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 I should be entitled to a repair or refund. I am currently in the process of pursuing a claim against the company. My advice, steer well clear of this car dealership.
