AVOID THIS CAR DEALER AT ALL COSTS

AVOID USED CAR SALES PETERBOROUGH AT ALL COSTS. They are polite and helpful until your transaction is completed and then it is all downhill from there. They issued a six month warranty with Auto-Guard for peace of mind at the time of the sale. 12 days later the car broke down and needed a new gear selector. On reporting this to the dealer they assured me they would deal with the problem. Over a period of days they took no action and I had to supervise the repair expecting this to be covered by the warranty, however they had not even arranged the Auto-Guard warranty until after I reported the fault. Hence the warranty was null and void causing me to have to pay the cost of the repair. Because they defaulted on the warranty I claimed through the small claim court. They requested a mediation through the Court and failed to attend. After requesting a judgment hearing they also failed to attend this. The judgement was awarded to me but I am still awaiting compensation from this dealer. Because of the false statements at the time of sale, I am out of pocket to the total of £1687.89. So I say again, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALER!!!!
