Absolute shambles, avoid at all cost

Car Store Livingston is a complete shambles of a business. Took over 2 hours for the paperwork and even then the invoice was wrong. Charged me £199 for alloy insurance, which the salesman said was a free offer. Drove my car home and then it struggled to start next morning, when it did it had numerous errors and no power steering. They wanted me to drive 40 miles to the dealer to return, eventually agreed to collect on a trailer. After having the car for 5 days they phoned back to say the alternator was dead, so much for their comprehensive AA check. At this point I told them to keep the car and wanted my money back, in line with their 14 day cashback guarantee. Despite numerous calls and emails and several promises that it would happen that day, it's been 12 days since they got the car back. No refund, no apology, nothing. May have to resort to legal action. Complete incompetence in all their dealings, avoid like the plague.
