Car bought with major engine problems

Avoid Autoshine Motors at all costs. Bought car end of Jan, car was shaking within 1 month and engine warning light flashing. Had it looked at at local garage and they diagnosed multiple serious issues with the engine. When i bought the car i was told it had a 3 month warranty to cover engine and gear box faults. Total lie, when i contacted them for help they told me it was nothing to do with them and refused to help. Terrible service, shifting cars fast and cheap without proper checks and zero come back if there are any issues. I'll be taking this up with Citizen's Advice!
