NEVER buy a car from this company

Borehamwood Car Store February 2019. Absolutely nothing was done correctly and communication skills are appalling when trying to get anything corrected. Among the failures: paid to reserve car at location but car elsewhere. staff not expecting booked test drive. AA inspection not mentioned. emails ignored. no MOT on car during test drive and attempted delivery without MOT. no service history provided. damage to car on delivery not present during test drive. A formal complaint was made to Evans Halshaw, owners of Car Store, and an assurance given that it would be dealt with by head office. Without informing me this was then referred back to the people who caused the problems. They also did not inform me that they had been asked to process the complaint and since they were in contact with me on specific matters this omission was a deliberate attempt at concealment resulting in no processing of the complaint for 2 weeks. When I asked for a senior person to process the complaint - as promised on the website - because after 2 weeks nothing had been done this was refused and it was simply referred back AGAIN to the people causing the problems. That is not a complaints process it's an attempt to bully, grind-down and brow-beat customers into silence by the owning company, Evans Halshaw. NEVER buy a car from this company.
