Wouldn't recommend
Wouldn't recommend SC Car Centre. Bought a used car from them for<2k on 20/7. Informed them that the handling wasn't great and was there a possible suspension problem after having the car for 4 days. Car had failed mot on a shock absorber,no paperwork to say who had done the work.or If the part had been replaced provided. When queried was told it was probably on a 'to do' pile. Still haven't seen it. Took car in 2/8 (13th DAY of ownership) due to poor handling. After test driving was told there was no problem. Took car back a 16/8 (27th DAY of ownership)poor handling/wheel noise. On inspection was agreed wheel bearing was faulty. Work was done the next day.No paperwork provided. 10/1(within the 6th month of ownership) informed the garage that I had wheel bearing noise. Was told they had staffing issues and couldn't help would I take it elsewhere. After not using the car for a while, due to illness and having access to another vehicle, I took it to a different garage. Diagnosis, wheel bearing needs replacing. As it was outside the 6 months ( even though reported within and not driven) SC didn't want to know. Soon after this the rear shock absorber mount broke as well. So, id say that SC sold me a car that wasn't "prepared to the highest standard" as there website claims. It had plenty of issues with handling/suspension from day one, that SC did very little about. The one job they did they made out was some sort of favour done as a "good will gesture". Customer service after the sale was disappointing. And overall I found them to be cagey and evasive.
