Customer service was terrible.
On visiting Imperial Cars the owner suggested a Kia Ceed, 1.4 engine, in white. We asked if we could test drive the Kia later that day. The dealership official closed at 5:30, but the owner wanted to leave at 5. We said we would try to make it in time. At 4:30, we knew that we would not make it before 5. We called and asked if he would stay open. He agreed and said he was happy to wait. Close to the dealership, we got a rude call from the owner. He opened with "no one was here, that it was past 5 and he was waiting". I explained that we could see the dealership down the road. He ended the call abruptly. When we arrived, the rudeness continued but we still took out the Kia. In hindsight, I wished we had just walked away. We discovered an alarming amount of rust behind all four wheels and under the bonnet for an 8-year-old car. When we returned, we showed the owner the rust. He said that we were not interested in buying the car, that our questions weren’t valid and made us feel that unless we were willing to hand over cash, there and then, that we were wasting his time. Comments such as, "he had been trading for 30 years and didn't need our money" and "he could talk to anyone, anyway he wanted" made us walk away, never wanting to return.
