Terrible service - avoid at all costs
I usually don't write reviews but I felt I had to share my experience so others are aware or Vauxhall can seriously think about investing in customer service training for their staff at Go Vauxhall Croydon. On the 2 occasions I've visited this branch, I haven't felt welcomed or treated well. Both times, staff had clearly seen me but chose to ignore me or show any acknowledgement of my presence until they felt ready. I literally had to stand there like a lemon. Then when I was noticed, it wasn't a 'Hello, how can we help?' more like 'What is it?' The first visit was for an MOT & Service, after which Rita Nelson did kindly show me to my car and give a good after care service, although now I believe this to be disingenuous as she asked me to give a good review. However, within less than 2 weeks my car wouldn't start so I had to bring it back in just in case it was related to the service but it was not. Now this second visit, Rita appeared to not even know who I was when I appeared at the service desk, despite being free. Upon collecting my car, after I had paid £70 for a diagnosis, Paul Godwin failed to show me to my car or even follow me out. Because my Corsa was not parked right outside or in obvious line of site, I walked back and lightly knocked on their back door simply to ask where my car was. Again, I was ignored heavily so I ended up knocking vigorously and was then asked to walk round. I chose not to do this as I thought since no courtesy was shown to me, I will not do the same. After knocking for a while Rita then came to the window with a hand written note saying Bay 16. No apologies from Paul or someone showing a willingness to come out and direct me. To say I have had the most awful experience with a car dealership is an understatement. You would think after spending over £400, you would be treated with a little decency but clearly you need to be a potential buyer to get the good service here, having read the reviews. I would not recommend this Go Vauxhall at all! Matter fact, avoid at all costs if you are sensible. I decided to deviate from my long standing family mechanic just to see what the service & price point would be here as my mum always has a positive experience at Toyota. The only person in this service department that is respectful and polite is Prav/Parv. If you must go here, do yourself a favour and request him. He was well mannered and helpful the 2 times I interacted with him. I would give them 0 if I could but he is their only saving grace to be honest. I will not be bringing my car back here or think of buying Vauxhall again. I hope this post, although lengthy will steer someone away from being treated like this too.
