MY ADVICE IS TO NEVER PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THIS CAR DEALER. We purchased a Renault RX4 from this car dealership in February 2015 as a 4X4. Within hours of the vehicle being purchased it began to shake violently. After returning the vehicle we were old the exhaust was hitting underneath the car but decided to have it inspected by an independent garage. The vehicle will cost in excess of £5000 to repair despite it having a 12 month MOT. THE REASON? Gregory Garage WHO DO NOT HAVE A TRAINED MECHANIC WORKING ON THE VEHICLES IN HOUSE.Parts that The vehicle was sold as a 4X4 (however essentially was a 2WD based on parts of the car that had been removed) stating that the vehicle has a full MOT, was fully Alarmed and is in excellent condition. After having the vehicle inspected by an independent garage, the car needs a complete overhaul including, drive shaft, differential, full brake disks and pads, the vehicle electrical system is faulty resulting in the half the vehicle doors remaining unlocked and the alarm is faulty. The vehicle also needs other items addressed. Mr McLean, the owner, is verbally abusive and aggressive and will hang up the telephone when you attempt to contact him. Despite our car having a 3 month warranty BY LAW from the date of purchase, he has refused to accept the return of the vehicle, do any repairs or respond to any correspondence. We are now in the process of taking Gregory Garage to court for selling vehicles contrary to the Sale of Goods Act. MT ADVICE AGAIN IS TO NEVER PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THIS COMPANY, YOU WILL REGRET IT.
