Lacking customer service skills
Everything at Thames Auto Sales was fine except customer services. The guy I dealt with came across rude and when questioned about the car he made sarcastic remarks. After sales I contacted him once more regarding transfer of car registration and again he was abrupt in his manner and I generally think he seriously needs to brush up on his customer services skills and telephone mannerism. I personally felt that he wanted me to just buy the car and don’t bother me attitude. You are made to feel that if you ask anything then it’s an inconvenience. Very awkward feeling or is it a norm these days and I should not make a big song and dance about it as I only spent 3K buying a car off this unfriendly chap. I tried to lighten things up by trying to be polite and making excuses for his mannerism but this chap was just cold salesman who seemed to not give too much thought about me as a potential customer. Me being desperate to buy the type of car that I was interested in was the only reason I did not walk away.
