Brought a white Mercedes car from Ray at Almondo Car Centre who is a reasonable guy but a little hot headed. The was mixing oil with radiator water which after bringing back to Ray he offered to change the radiator and loan me a car or to take it but i needed a larger car and i really liked the Mercedes. I took the car away after being fitted with a new radiator but the problem has come back.I went to visit a local garage before all this hassle and they said before even taking any tools to it ,its the head gasket, Ray seems to come across has a nice guy but if he is purchasing a job lot of cars he needs to inspect them first and if the necessary work needs doing then fix it and charge more .I have called him yesterday and his response was you've had the car for three months its not my problem but what he forgets is that you don't sell cars on to customers knowing full well the head gasket had gone. I have given him until 5.30pm yesterday to call me back and sort this out but he refuses to answer my emails or calls. Another garage owner said after checking the radiator its the head gasket and to fix it your looking at best part of a thousand pounds .Next stop Trading Standards for him.
