Bought a Smart Car for my Partner who was about to Retire to an isolated Village in Devon. So pre purchase I was at pains to explain that it needed to be safe and reliable. I was advised that it was and so went ahead. About a week later when I found it had burned all the oil I took it to a Smart specialist who confirmed the need for an Engine rebuild and the ABS system was faulty and furthermore the wheel bearings needed to be replaced. Were Parkhill Cars or Tortworth Cars as I now see they are named helpful? Suffice to say I did not receive any compensation for the £1000 repair bills Run like the wind is my advice based on my experience with Parkhill Cars (Torthworth Cars).
