Very poor customer servce

We saw a Vauxhall Corsa advertised as a new arrival. We submitted an online enquiry at Cars of Southbourne, with contact details, on a Sunday. On the Monday morning, we went to view the car, but the premises weren't open at 9am. I then rang the mobile number on the website to enquire and express interest. I was told the car had not yet arrived, but that he would contact me when it arrived, most likely on the Tuesday (the next day). I received no call, and no contact following the online form I submitted. My wife and I went on the Wednesday PM, and the car was there. We spoke to a guy in the showroom and we went out for a drive. Car seemed very good. We talked with the guy afterwards and we attempted to negotiate the price. In the process of this. he had to contact his boss, and after doing so, told us that another couple had said they would put a deposit down by bank transfer, but that it hadn't yet come in. He then said that if we wanted to buy the car, we could. My wife and I both didn't feel comfortable with this, as we would not like to be usurped in that way. We therefore agreed that the guy would contact me the next day to let me know either way. He never contacted us, and I dropped by the next day to check and the car had been sold. Good luck to the couple concerned, probably a good buy, but lousy customer service and I would struggle to trust them in view of our experience.
