Awful experience with Guy Salmon Land Rover in Maidstone from the start, we have been sold a car with software faults. We have owned the car5 months. We have a Range Rover sport 2017 dynamic and the battery keeps draining. Land Rover assistant been out to the car 5 times to get it going and give it software up dated. Then it’s been I. The work shop in total 2 weeks trying to sort problems out. We have only had the car 5 months!! The business manager is a disgrace, as told us software issues do happen! We were not told this point of sale and not told we would treated like this! We have rejected the car as within the 6 months under the consumer code, we have asked for a like for like. Said they can not find one. Asked us to take out finance to get a newer model! Just unbelievable, as with finance they make commissions on. They do not want to help and are so rude and do not tell you the truth. We are now taking further action. Would never use this main dealer again as can not trust or believe a word they say. For a high end dealer the service is s joke. Just want more and more money. Do not see the customer side. But there is laws and if you read the consumer code you have rights. All there is a moto ombudsman and the financial ombudsman as surely you can not sell a car not fit for purpose then ask to take out finance to get a newer model! This main dealership really needs looking into. Trading standards also should have a investigation.
