Atrocious after sales care
Do NOT use Active Automotive. Nothing is a problem before you've paid but after they have your money the customer service is absolutely diabolical. I bought a car from here about a month ago and as they were preparing it I received a phone call from them claiming the radio unit was faulty, at which point they said I could have a new one for £250.00 or they could repair the current one, so I opted for the repair. To cut a long story short I picked the car up after waiting 13 days and the day after I had it, it was apparent the radio had not been sorted (keeps losing signal and not able to regain). After dozens of e-mails and phone calls back and forth Clive ended up saying that their electrician's mother had passed away and that he was waiting to "hopefully" get in contact with him soon to get it sorted, it's been another 11 days since I last heard from Clive. I've been driving around in the new car for 3 weeks with a radio that is not fit for purpose and are no further forward with them sorting it, but now they have my money it seems like they are making excuses and want nothing to do with it. They also hadn't checked the status of the battery as it is incredibly groggy starting up in the mornings. They should have changed the rear brake discs as they are grinding and as well as that, after living with the car for a day or so I also noticed the wheel alignment is out. All of which had been ticked as checked on the PDI sheet by Clive himself. In conclusion I would say that if you were looking to buy an expensive pile of junk with atrocious after sales care to go with it, then you're looking in the right place but if you don't want to make the same mistake I did then seriously take my advice and stay well away.
