Beware Honda Extended Warranty

Beware Honda Extended Warranty from Phoenix Honda in Paisley- my CRV developed the same failure in the space of 18 months - the fault diagnosed by the roadside assistance on 3 occasionas and reported to Honda as EGR valve fault- on two occasions car subsequently checked by the Dealer but NO problem found!!! On the 3rd occasion I insisted to have the EGR valve replaced. Despite the fault being diagnosed and reported by the roadside assistance, Honda Dealer in Paisley insisted to perform diagnostic tests for which I would need to pay (otherwise they would not perform a repair, despite the fact that the car is covered by Extended Honda warranty- apparently this is what HONDA UK demands from them). So you pay for Extended Warranty, have your car services by the Dealer, have the fault diagnosed three times and then you have to pay for the Dealer to come to the same conclusion, otherwise Honda UK would not pay for repair (covered by the warranty!!!). My last Honda.
