Terrible garage
My car was written off through no fault of my own, and I had to get a new car. I looked round lots of places, and found Cars of Ringwood, I saw their mazda 3 which I loved, I test drove it with my partner and also my mechanic and we picked up a few things, I was told if I brought it it would be fixed before I picked it up. So a week later. With a new MOT I picked up my new car. I took it straight over to my mechanic who drove it and was shocked to tell me that the work had not been done, and the clutch was slipping on the vehicle which it was not doing on the test drive. I was gutted, but given I had 3 month warranty I rang cars of ringwood and explained.. Chris rang me back 5 minutes later and was very rude to me on the phone, telling me there is nothing wrong with it etc. Well having known my mechanic for years I knew if there was a problem he would not sugar coat it and would tell me how it was, there was no need for him to lie. Chris then told me to bring the car back for a refund (I had only owned the car for less than 2 hours!) Despite me saying it was covered in the warranty he didn't care. So the next day I took it back and He drove it and basically laughed in my face and told me there was nothing wrong with it. I'm no mechanic but I know when a clutch is slipping. He laughed about it infront of his colleagues. I should not have been made to feel the way I was, I was a genuine customer who had brought a car and expected the car to work. Anyway, 3 months later the car is still for sale on their website.. and there's nothing wrong with it no? I would NOT recommend cars of ringwood and I definately would not buy the Mazda 3 YU04FNN unless you want a piece of shit.
