Aggressive owner, defective car

We bought a car from the Freelander Centre a couple of years ago but at the time I couldn't find anywhere to post a review until now. The 4 x 4 we bought was utterly riddled with problems from day 1 and they never stopped. A brand new MOT was provided with no advisories and yet we had to get new brake pads, discs and shoes immediately we got home as it slid down our drive when parked. Disbelieving this could be possible given what we'd spent and the new MOT, we took the car to 2 independent garages who confirmed the work required. The owner denied he'd let a faulty vehicle off his forecourt but was really aggressive. He claimed back then to be getting out of the business because customers are such a nuisance but it would appear he's still there. He offered to fix the vehicle for us but as he was so aggressive, miles from where we lived and with a really long journey to undertake in the next few days, we just had to sort it ourselves and weather the cost. The RAC warranty provided wasn't worth the paper it was written on either. Soon after we needed 4 new tyres, a new battery and umpteen other things. It was the most expensive yet worst car we've ever had and we had to sell the car at a huge loss because of its issues. Simply terrible experience.
