Shocking rip off!

Do not buy from David, aka Ali al Reza, from Phantom Car Sales; it appears to be a criminal network! While we were waiting for David to arrive to show us the car, a local man approached us to say "don't buy from this man, the cars break after 2 months." Regretfully, we didn't take the advice of this person, as the specs of the car looked good and we needed a car asap. On the way home from the garage, a couple of lights came up on the dashboard. A few days later there was a horrible grating sound. We got the car checked, we paid for steering track rod ends, but the problem was still there, so we got new brake discs, pads and calipers. The headlights had to be replaced at great expense, and now the sensors need replacing too for £500! The worst thing of all is that as I want to trade in the car, I have been informed that it is a category D write off from 2015, which David didn't tell me at the time. Also that although it was first registered in 2007 with it's current number plate, it was actually imported from Thailand in 2005! I have been advised by a car dealership to take this to a small claims court! Can I join other disgruntled customers in pursuing this?
