I travelled 25 miles in Easter Holiday traffic on a hot day to be acknowledged in a most discourteous manner. I was handed keys and left to it... They were the wrong keys. I went back to the office and was handed the correct set. .... I opened the vehicle using the fob. I then tried to start the car. Some warning lights came on but it wouldn't turn over. I again returned to the office to tell them of my plight. The "salesman" snatched the keys from me and stomped off to the car. He then started the car. I simply asked him what he had done differently.. I was quite taken aback by the robust dressing down and tirade of abuse coupled with the smart mouthed "advice" of how ket fobs operate in "modern cars"... The car in question was a T reg vehicle. Who knew that on this particular car you have on,y a few seconds from opening the door to inserting the key into the ignition... Who knew that I would have to press the unlock button on the fob twice in order to activate the ignition??? Perhaps it would have been better if the lazy assed "salesman" could have simply taken the correct keys and actually shown me around the vehicle!!?? If you think he was busy.... I was the only potential customer on the forecourt and I had had the decency to call ahead and confirm that I would be there... It might also have been an idea to take a Hoover to the car and some air freshener???
