Where to start, bought a Nissan qashqai 64 plate from Bury Motors the day of collection the car wouldn't lock, the Bluetooth wouldn't connect and stop start fault. Returned the car for a full refund. Only the dodgy sales lad didn't give a full refund but put £1000 negative equity over the replacement car. A Renault megane 67 plate with 6000 miles on the clock. The megane also had problems undisclosed to ourselves. Had a new bumper, engine oil leak, a new water pump, they claimed to be doing a recal on the car and upon returning back to us the same week we collected it they had snapped the gear linkage so driving with my family In the car and no gears could be selected! They took the car back in.. and upon returning the car it had a very loud noise. I took it for a second opinion at a Renault dealer local to me and they showed me a video of the damage done to the air con unit! They in the meantime, sold us a second car with a engine management light on, and failed to fix that. Luckily they accepted the rejection on that one seat Ibiza BK10VBE but I am sure they will bodge that up and sell it on. The megane sold as a nearly new undamaged car with almost full warranty turns out to be a crash car and not covered under warranty. They refuse to take the car back due to this mis sold pcp.. and they fail to provide copies of any contracts or order forms. We found what we assumed was a packet of drugs in the drivers door of the managers company car we were lent. Confronted with all this they still say we owe them a grand even though due to payments already made the amount would actually be less than 700.. so they would in effect be making 300 plus further from us. It scares me to wonder how many more people have had to pay for damages caused by THEIR technicians.. steer well clear!!! And don't buy a black Renault megane estate sport 67 plate! From bury motors.. as with all their vehicles and staff they aren't what they say.
