I bought a car for £1500 from Lakeside Trading Company and within two months and two weeks the car broke and needed a new engine costing £1500. Lakeside tradinging Company are refusing to pay for the repairs or taking the car back and refunding my money.even although the Dale of Goods Act States that as the purchase is less than six months old it is up to the dealer to prove that the car was fit for purpose. The car is obviously not fit for purpose as you would expect the car to last longer than two months and two weeks. Lakeside Trading Company are refusing to negotiate or help pay for the repair to the car or refund the money.
