Selling me a car that's un road worthy

I bought a car from Moorhouse Motors, I was told it had a full years mot, I brought the car home and booked it in with a local mechanic for breaks checking. I was advised by my mechanic not to drive the car, the following day it was put though an mot and low and behold it's failed on 10 majors 8 advisory and 1 that needs quick response. The test apparently was done on the 8th August 2018 I bought the car on 24th August 2018. Asked for a full refund as I'm within my 30day period and refused. This case has now been passed on and will be on going. Avoid avoid avoid.
