My first classic car?
I had been thinking of buying a classic car for the last 2 years and had decided on a MGB. Ideally was looking for MGB convertible and had looked at several since the beginning of the year all proving to be disappointing with bodywork faults or mechanical issues. I did find one at a dealer up near Pickering which was nearly acceptable with a few minor body issues however dealer would not negotiate on price so did decide to walk away and carry on looking. Was beginning to lose faith in obtaining anything acceptable in my price range when a white MGB GT (not quite what I wanted) came up at Tollbridge and decided to travel thinking that it would be another disappointment however I didn't realise just how nice a car this was and struck a deal with Peter (one of the 2 partners David been the other) I asked if I could send an independent engineer in to check it who reported the car was fine in fact he did say this was one of the better MGB's he had seen in the last few months so I then decided to close the deal and collected the vehicle last week and drove the vehicle back home to West Yorkshire with no issues at all. Since having the car out and about it is good how many comments I have had regarding how nice the car is. Thoroughly recommend Peter and David who are 2 of the nicest 'used car salesmen' I have ever met and I was not met with pressure at any time to buy the vehicle. THANK YOU to everyone at Tollbridge Used Car Centre.
