needed service immediately!

Bought a car from Nicky Duncan Cars and the service light came on within 24 hours!! only thing he said he would do is have the alert cancelled!! I would have preferred a service - thanks!! I can cancel the alert myself. He avoided calls, I text and he said he was off - HUH?? is this my concern?? Then he used various excuses and I gave up on him. I thought he was a nice enough guy - but I know better now!!
