Bought a Used Car - Broke Down

Very Poor after service - Car Broke down totally had to get towed had to PAY even though it was in warranty period . Arnold Clark Vauxhall Glenrothes branch stated if they had have recovered the car there would have been no cost . Called Arnold Clark on the Sunday but was told to call back on the Monday as no one was there to help or no national helpline . My 3 kids were in the car on the busy motorway - had to stand at the side of the M90 with a 2 year very stressful Police told me I had to get the car recovered on the Sunday . Very poor after sales service was told incorrect information . Moral of the story is leave your car on the motorway until the Monday as Arnold Clark or the sales team can’t or won’t help you if they can’t recover the car . Common sense paying the recovery wouldn’t have resulted in losing customers. They should have a national recovery number for when all the service departments are closed - just like your online sales when the showrooms are closed Customer Service is every bit as important as Sales
