Ongoing betrayal of my good faith
Having spent an unhurried few months waiting for exactly the right car to appear, at a dealership I had a good feeling about, I chose to do business with DM Keith at Bradford when the right car did turn up. My instincts have proven to be wrong. Apart from the scratches and damage to the car's bodywork, which were never highlighted to me during the purchase process (which eventually got resolved at the Leeds body work shop), I also discovered that I was never provided with what I assume is still called a log book. Subsequently I had to ask the salesman, Ian Cox, if a service was carried out on the day of purchase. Allegedly there was. There is no record anywhere of this, nor of the other annual service the car evidently had at some prior time. I had to find this out when I eventually got a reply at the 4th attempt, from DM Keith in York. I believe they only imparted this information because they smelled a service plan sale in the air. I am in possession of a quote for same, addressed to a wrong name! So, my good faith continues to be betrayed by DM Keith in Bradford. I have attempted to reach a manager, any manager, by email this morning. Watch this space. If I am furnished with the car's service and maintenance history, I'll update this review accordingly
