How It Should Be Done ...

I bought A 2008 Mercedes CLC from Halstead Trade Cars two months ago. Although it only had 40000 miles on the clock a gearbox sensor failed after about 4 weeks. I live in Kent and They understood that as the car's auto box was in limp mode and would only drive in second gear it would not be safe for me to get it to them. I explained that there was a very good independent garage I have been using for years based in Maidstone which I could get to and HTC were happy for me to take it there and paid for all the work to get me going again. They were great about it all the way. I had been looking for a car for some time and settled on this one because of all the positive reviews of Halstead Trade Cars. This turned out to be a good decision. I would also comment on how professional and friendly all the staff are, right down to changing the air freshener at the last minute for the one I wanted. By far the best experience I've had buying a car ... Bravo and thanks!
