Appalling used sales
I saw a car at East Kent Audi and called to get more information. I spoke to Jo Forster who initially came across quite nice. Then when he was asked questions about the vehicle service history he knew nothing. Then got it all wrong and then never called back as promised. Probably want ching football as nobody answered the phone or called back. I had to call on the next day and left a deposit for the vehicle with a business manager. They said Jo would call the next day but when he called back he said he had other people interested so wasn’t going to sell me the car and would refund my deposit. I said it was unacceptable and he said he would speak to the manager and come back to me. Well of course he didn’t so I contacted the business manager who took the deposit. Several hours later got a your deposit has been refunded. I called Jo”s line manager who was equally useless and between them don’t seem to know much about the products they are selling. I contacted Inchcape head office and was called by the supposed manager who in not so many words said tough luck buddy we sold it to someone else but couldn’t say when or for how much or anything then the final insult was to say if we are so bad then why would you want to buy from us. My response is I paid a deposit on a car in good faith which you have refunded me without telling me why not contacting me back and now you claim to have sold it to someone else.i said I still want the car and he said it’s OUR product so we can do what we want with it even if we have let you down. Basically he tried to make it my fault for not wanting it as I would be too upset to butmt from them. The worst cop out inthe history of cop outs. It’s no wonder why all of his staff are so bad if he is that bad. Avoid this dealership at all costs unless you want to be served by clowns
