Be very careful!!

Please be very careful guys! Don’t give the deposit for the car if you’re not 100% sure you will get finance for the car! As you won’t receive your deposit back! My little story: found a car I liked and decided to try get car finance, so I left the deposit for the car to the seller and I asked if I leave this deposit will I get it back if I won’t be able to receive the finance, he replied “yes surely”. So I went back home and was trying for week to sort the finance out through a company the seller deals with. However I was not given a finance, we’ve tried everything we could but they declined it all. So today I messaged seller asking to bank transfer me back the deposit and a reply I’ve got “Hi the finance company told us you backed off on the deal” which surely I didn’t and the company has recorded all the conversations I had with them, which I have requested for prove! I will be seeking legal advice to get the deposit back and will be also putting a claim for all the stress I had now due to this situation. Luckily I had my partner with me who can confirm all this. After the stress I have already had with the crash which was not my fault this was something I don’t need at all... be very careful when buying anything from this dealer. I’m not the person who will leave this all as it is and forget it, especially with a law degree I know what I need to do but someone else might not know...
