Sold car with problems

I was sold a car with problems,I call the dealer for exchange he promise to call me back in 10min and started avoiding my calls.I couldn’t use the car for two weeks after solving the problems another major one developed. Then I took the car to the dealer for full refund of my money since the car was just 1month of 3month warranty.He offer to repair the car but I wanted my money back as I couldn’t trust the purchase anymore.He refuse to refund my money but off to buy the car back from me with less than half of the initial purchase.After long conversation and argument he agreed to pay £1000 less of the initial purchase so I agreed has I did not want to go through court stress.Buyer please read advert properly,and check gov.website to avoid MOT back clocked.
