£36 k for a previously damaged vehicle

Brought our 66 plate 3.5k miles on the clock last year. Only this year find out whilst trying to get a quote from a few body work places that it's been previously damaged on the side and doors, and a 2nd rate job of filling and spraying ( to the trained eye) Gutted that I have paid so much for a previously damaged van and it's taken the shine off owning my own camper. Wish I'd gone to a VW dealer where I might have had some comeback.
