BMW 3Series

Please do not trust this dealer. If you look closely at their website all cars are photoshopped to look like they are at the dealer's garage.. I purchased a 3series BMW 09reg for 3600 on 31st May. It was delivered by a guy claiming to be called 2 different names, Red flags. Warning lights were coming up alternatively, I asked and he said there was no issue at all. I am not at all knowledgeable about cars you see....The car does not start straight away and they showed me some manoeuvres to start it, said it was a verified security measure that was installed so the car does not get easily stolen since apparently BMWs get stolen very often. Up to that point I had not driven the vehicle as he claimed to be in a hurry and had to go to an address in IG8 to collect another car. In the evening I spoke to him about the faults and he still reassured me that the car was fully and thoroughly serviced and there were no faults at all. In the morning of 1st June 2018 I decided to call my garage for inspection. It turned out there were 15 faults, of which 3 are major faults which needed to be repaired immediately for a minimum £400. their supposed verified security for the car not to be stolen is in fact a gearbox issue confirmed by the garage. I sent them a diagnostic of that specific issue and they offered to only pay half of the work. As my garage was extremely busy they offered me to collect the car for a deeper inspection of the warning lights as the repair offered only related to the gearbox and all the lights Ambassador said were fine would also need to be inspected and the car should not be driven as is according to the drver's manual and my mechanic. My garage however said that the engine is bust and would need replacing. These guys have then become rude and were talking to me as if I was stupid (which I feel to be honest). I now sent them a letter and email requesting full refund under The Consumer Rights Act 2015 which requires dealers to supply goods of satisfactory quality. However, the vehicle is clearly unroadworthy therefore in breach of contract. I contacted trading Standards, and will go to small claims court if they do not reimburse me promptly. I am contacting all organisations I can find online that can help so that these guys do not get away with it
