Would avoid
Honestly I would give them 0 star if I could. Like some of the other reviewers have said- I bought a 2014 Audi A1 from these guys for about 9000 pounds, and honestly should have trusted my gut instinct to stay away. I was told by various independent garages after close inspections of the car that I was ripped off badly. I am not going to go into detail about all the endless lies Ambassador Automobiles have told, but some of the bigger issues were: 1. Car had completely messed up wheel bearings (according to Kwik Fit, it was the worst one they've ever seen). It made a very audible growling noise while driving, but the dealer and their mechanic friends denied hearing anything. After countless journey back and forth between Leamington and Birmingham plus written proof from Kwik Fit, they finally reluctantly agreed to change the wheel bearings. 2. Brakes are very rusty and making a grinding noise, so I took it to an independent garage to get it checked. They found, by chance, a loose hub nut (probably because the dealer's mechanics did a half job with everything). Basically I've been driving a car with a wheel that could have come off at any point for the past three months. 3. They use USED parts for everything, as cheap as they can get. These cars may look good on the outside, but don't be fooled, because they will break apart soon after you buy it. These were just 3 out of probably 10 issues I've had with them. Please, please don't make the same mistake I did. Do yourself a favour and find a trustworthy dealer.
