Poor service from start to finish

Well my experience of Taunton Ford wasn't great, in fact a disaster of what would appear to be staff not sure what they are doing and facilities that are not up to standard! I spotted a 2015 White Ford Focus on Autotrader, the price on the advert was £8,995 so I thought I would go to the garage to inspect it. When I arrived the very same car was marked at £9,995 in the front window display and £9,495 on the passenger window paperwork so after dialogue with the confused salesman, I was told it was actually £8,995. That was until I sat down to discuss the car with the sales advisor to be told there is a new tax that I would have to pay and an admin charge that would take the car up to the £9,400 mark.. I left to discuss this with my partner and said I would be back at around lunchtime the next day to test drive and potentially buy the car. From the start of the day until around 2pm I tried to call the 2 different numbers for the garage but they were constantly engaged. I tried 22 times in total. By then I had had enough and emailed the salesman Adam. I asked about the car, asked him to explain the additional tax as earlier that day I spoke with the VW garage in Taunton (a much better garage) and they told me that it wasn't right and the tax should be included in the price of the car!. He responded just simply saying that the phones lines were down. So I asked the question again to which he replied with just the price of the car including the tax / admin charge, no explanation! I responded, awaited another response, but nothing. The following day (today), I emailed Adam saying if we can settle on the £8,995, no additional charges, I would be down today to purchase the car.....no response from him. I called the garage, asked the receptionist if Adam was working, she said yes come down. I drove to the garage to ask about the car again and why he had not responded. Adam was not working today I'm told, nice info admin!!! I thought I liked the car so I spoke with another salesman. I explained everything so he went and spoke with his manager. We settled on £8,995, no fees and I was happy bar the test drive. The salesman went to get the keys for the test drive to return with the bombshell...........I can't find the keys as the car has sold this morning.......what a joke of a garage. So many errors, overall a complete catalogue of errors from phone lines not working, lack of communications between staff, cars marked with 3 different prices, poor communication to customers and fees that are not presented until you sit at the table and talk finances. surely the tax of selling these vehicles should be incorporated in the price of the sale like everywhere else, not added as an extra for the customer! Poor for a main dealer! Avoid!!
