AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

If I could give him zero stars I would. We bought a used handicapped modified vehicle from Alexander James Motors. The next day, we went to get in the rear passenger door and the handle came off in our hands! He had duct taped it on! We immediately asked to return the vehicle for a refund as is our rights and he messed us about agreeing to a refund but unwilling to put it in writing. He then said he would take it back but charge us £300 for mileage. I told him he was crazy if he thought we would pay for the privilege of being ripped off bybhim and offered standard business rate mileage. He again agreed and then refused to put it in writing. Playing games by writing I received your email but not that he agreed to the terms of the return. At his request, we took it to a mechanic and found the springs were broken, the rear door sensor was broken (which caused the car alarm to go off intermittently so we couldn't lock the car and when driving made the internal lights come on. The biggest issue was I could get my wheelchair in the car, but once locked the only way to open the back was to crawl under the chair and hit a release button. ) The front passenger door electric window did not work and as the motor was burned out it effected the car lights so only the high beams worked. We then agreed to get repair estimates and he would check with his mechanic for pricing, etc. After he did that we would negotiate a refund. We did that and then he totally ghosted us. Won't answer our calls or emails. At this point we are going to sue him in civil court. . Do not do business with him.
