Avoid them at All Cost.
To cut long story short, I had to report his business to Trading standards. All the negative reviews here are typical of what this man does. Sounded nice when money was still in my pocket but turned into a tiger once money exchanged hands. Saw a zafira he advertised with a surprisingly low mileage, went to view and did test drive, vehicle drove well but had this nasty whistling noise which he said was the fan belt needing changing. According to him, £20 will sort it out. Unknown to me, they had applied some lubricants in the area to keep the noise at bay. He insisted on bank transfer as typical and deal was completed. I drove out of his shop and noise got worse as I accelerated. I went to a garage next morning only to be told the problem was a major engine fault, and had nothing to do with fan belt as he had claimed. Moreso, the speedometer was not working which explained the unusual low mileage for an 8yr old car. It was a mystery how on earth he got an MOT on the vehicle. I called him to let him know my findings and he resorted to threats. Would not take his vehicle back and would not discuss refunds for a transaction of under 24hrs. I drove down to his shop at Penn street, and saw a completely different character from the gentle looking man that I met the previous evening. He was threatening physical assault and was insisting he wasn't making any refunds. I had considered legal action, but as I had so much work on my hand at the time, I decided to refer the matter to trading standards and disposed of the vehicle. In conclusion, you should avoid them.
