Forgot to order parts!
Jaguar recall said a part needed to be fitted. Standard part, should take no more than an hour in one visit. Despite confirming on the phone that it would take "about an hour and a half", on arrival they said it required two visits - both of two hour and I needed to return the following day. They said this was an instruction from Jaguar! I suspected that they had just forgotten to order the parts so I called Jaguar who confirmed again that this should be done in one visit and the garage could have ordered the part in advance. Clearly, they just forgot to oreder the part and gave me a pack of lies. No appology, just a white face when I suggested we call Jaguar from the showroom. Why was I so annoyed with them? Well, it's happened before, not once but twice.
