A nice man, but could be much better!

I have rather mixed feelings about this agent. Initially I found the owner very pleasant to deal with and helpful, although the premises are very hard to find being located behind a line of shops off a one way street. The entrance is through a narrow alleyway with no easily visible signs. I did, however, buy a car from them which is very nice although there have been some serious problems problems. It turned out that the car had not received its last annual service, which had been due 3 months earlier, and there was a problem with the headlights which I had not realised when I bought it - I even got pulled over by the police on the way home! I subsequently had to have the fault rectified and the service carried out by my local garage, but at least Gillman Motors agreed to pay their bill quite willingly, but it took nearly four months and numerous emails and conversations with them before they actually paid it, so be very careful should you buy a car from them to check the service history and to check for any defects there might be to the car!.
