Disgusted

Never again. Shocking.

So very disappointing. My car began to limp so I took it straight to a garage after the AA looked at it. My garage sent it to Richard Sanders Citroen to have a recalled part changed. Citroen told them this is very unlikely to fix my car. I spoke to the main dealer the day they said they were doing the work and explained it may need further investigation if the recall won’t fix it. I requested they test drive it and see. To which they said of course. Citroen called me later that day. They said it had fixed the issue and my car was running great. They said it had been on a test drive. I was so surprised but very pleased. I arranged cover at work and went to go get my car. I asked again are they sure it’s fixed. Yes. I filled in a customer card giving them top marks and went on my way. A few miles down the road, on my way back to work, my car showed the same fault and went into limp mode. I do not believe for a second that it was test driven. My car went back to citroen and they said they found a fault with coil packs and need to change them all. I said go ahead but please please test drive it after. Was told it would be done the following day (thurs) and they would let me know. On the Monday I had still heard nothing so I called them. They said my car is fixed and has had 2 test drives and this time it will be fine. Guess what. Anti pollution system faulty again. Still shaking in idle, still misfiring. No improvement. How anyone could test drive this car and think it is okay astonishes me. Again, I do not believe it was test driven. So I call them again, I inform them it is not fixed .. still. I ask for a quote on intake cleaning as I believe this to be the real issue after doing research. I am told the service manager will call me straight back with a quote. 3 days later still no phonecall. Shocking service, will never go back and will never buy another Citroen from them. Ever.
