BAD!!!!
My other half and I bought a car on the 11th November. We made it very clear the car had to mechanical and structural safe, as we have a 70-75 mile round trip to work and our only other way of transportation is motorcycles. We was assured the car was both mechanical and structural safe and there was no problems at all with. Problems started on our drive home with restricted performance amber warning light coming on and a lot of steam coming from engine compartment, as the owner had left the garage before we did and it was getting late we continued home and parked the car up. My other half rang him on the Monday to make them aware of the problems, but got told the owner was not there at the time, but the person on the phone promised he would get him to give us a call back, well that never happened. We rang many times, but the owner never seemed to be there to talk to us. My other half came back one day a said we can’t no longer safely drive the car as we now have both Amber and red warning lights on for various things, he again rang and got told the owner was not there, but would gives us a ring back. This now meant we where forced to use our motorcycles to get to work, which unfortunately resulted in me ending up on a spinal board in an ambulance going to A and E and a bike I now need to get fixed. If the car had been safe to drive, I would never have been on the bike in the middle of winter in freezing temperatures and rain, thank you very much. Both my other half and myself lost days of work because of this. He rang them one last time and surprise surprise the owner was not there to take his call, my other half told them he had till 13.00 to ring us back or a section 75 of the consumers credit act would be started. Surprise, still no call back and we now got a section 75 opened on them and a 5 page report of mechanical and structural faults with the car from an independent garage. In other words, stay as far away from this dealer as physically possibly. Thank you for reading this.
